Diff's between 93-97 intake mani's?

Are there any difference's between the intake manifolds bewtween 93-97? Are they all interchangeable? Or is it year specific, on what mani can go onto what car. Thanks guys.

The way the fuel lines are routed on the 93 model is different.

But the way the fuel lines are routed for the 93's has to do w/ the lines and fuel rail, not the intake manifold, right?? Or does the FPR mount of a different part of the manifold?

the 93's do not have the cut out on the front of the manifold for the crossover like the later models do, besides that they will physically bot up and work ART

Re: Diff's between 93-97 intake mani's?

The 1993 manifold does not have the fuel crossover one the front. The 1994 and 1995 cars have a different intake than the 1996 and 1997 cars. The later intakes have a different runner, it more closely matches the shape of the port in the head. The 1993 fuel rails will bolt on any year intake, the bolt holes and injector placement is the same. The 1994 and 1995 have a larger runner that would work better for a car with ported heads.

So would a 94-95 be simular to the 96-97...and differences that would effect performance?

the 93 fuel rail bolts are also a little larger than 94-97. not a big deal just something to keep in mind if you are going to install one.

Expect the 96-97 intake manifold port openings to fit up better, with the head port openings, at the flange, due to more precise mimic of port shape. I.E., less mismatch/overlap on the short side (pushrod side) wall.
