different intake set-up for the lt1?????

Is there a different intake set-up I can bolt up to my 94 camaro lt1 engine that will give me more horsepower like a ram jet intake. Just wondering

Yes there are, but they are all over $2K... Leave the Intake alone... get some fuel rail covers... it will serve you just as well, and you'll save $2XXX in the process.

You would only need to change the intake if you have made extensive internal engine modifications to require it. An LT1 is not like an old carbed SBC.

Those things are rediculous

Who ever is running one of those manifolds on thier Rat motor I'd hate line up with them.

The stock one can be modded, I have seen 9 sec LT1s with modded intakes. Take a look at this one from Steve Quinn, he runs 9.7s on a LT1 head and at one point an LT1 Intake http://home.wideopenwest.com/~squinn0039/ltx.html . Theres other out there that can heavily work the stock units.

The stock one is pretty good.

If you want to get fancy, have it cleaned up and polished on the inside. It's a dry manifold, so it'll be fine. And port match it.

If you want to hog it out some, you can always get it extrude honed, but don't rush out to do that until your engine builder tells you it's time.
