Differences between Y-pipes

i am currently looking into mid-tube headers for my 96Z. My question is how much difference is there between an off road pipe and say a random tech dual-cat pipe? looking for differences in power mostly.

Also, how much (as a guess) do u think a used random tech y would cost?

Thanks

Re: Differences between Y-pipes

There will not be a huge power difference between the two. The main thing is if you have to satisfy emissions regulations, then I would go with the catted y-pipe. I'm not sure how much a used Random Tech y-pipe would go for, but a brand new one fetches a good amount. Random Tech is not cheap at all, just a 3" catted downpipe for my Grand Prix cost 350 bucks.
