differences between a 93 lt1 and 95 lt1??

i bought a swap harness for a 95 lt1. i have a 95 donor car that i was going to use the motor and trans out of it but i scored a deal on a 93 lt1 motor and transmission so i figured id throw that in and save the 95. i am planning on using my 95 harness with a 95 computer. from what i have been told is i will have to put a 95 throttle body on the 93 motor, add a MAF, and use 95 oxygen sensors. is there anything i am missing, will this work or am i going to have to swap out more parts than its worth to get this 93 motor to work with 95 electronics?

The injectors for the 95 are different also. I'd take all the emissions equipment off as well if you can just to simplify things.

The 93 intake manifold is a little different, might be a problem depending on which fuel rail you want to use.
The 93 injectors are 22lbs the 95 24lbs.
The 95 uses a vented optispark the timing cover and timing set are a little different than the 93 and the wiring to plug into the opti from the car is a little different. All of this is workable so if you are getting that good a deal go for it and we can help in more detail once you hae it all inhand to look at.

my harness came in today. and i am picking up the motor thursday. i have the wiring harness adapter for the early style opti spark included with my harness. will the injectors and timing setup work with the 95 computer and harness?

also what about the crank position sensor, i thought some years had them and some didnt?

If your going to use the 93 transmission as well (if its an auto) you will need to use the 93 TB that has privisions for the TV cable. I think the newer 95 IAC valve will fit the 93 tb. Also you will need to relocate the oil pressure switch to the top of the block.

IACs do not interchange. 1993 is its own animal.

Can change the IAC/coolant baseplate on the TB. The 58mm TB I have came with a 93 baseplate and I just pulled the stock pices off a 94+ TB and they fit fine.
