Question Difference in stock rearends between LT1 & LS1???

Ok I know the brakes are different, but what about the pinion yokes? I have a carbon fiber shaft from an M6 LS1 car that I got a great deal on, not to mention it's 7 pounds lighter. The DS length is perfect, but the U-joint on the CF shaft is not as wide as my stock LT1 A4 driveshaft (approx .5" narrower in overall width). Looks like the carbon shaft will require a narrower yoke. Anyone know if the LS1's come with a smaller yoke than the LT1 cars? Thanks.

I believe the yokes are the same. I have a aluminum DS from a 6-speed LS1 and its the same size. Maybe the guy changed it??
