Are there really that much difference with the LS1 rearend to that of our LT1? Reason i'm askin is I just picked up a MAC rearend girdle but I have already swapped rearend with a stock 3.42 LS1, somehow trying to install the cover to the LS1 rearend, the bolt holes would not completely align properly! Now I know the MAC cover came out of an LT1 rear and Inow have an LS1 rear so could this be the problem??? Another thing is there are two main bolts in the middle of the cover which I guess is what secures it to the gears inside??? and I cannot get that thing to sit properly.

Any help will be great.
