Difference between X and H pipe?

Other than the obvious (their shape), what is the difference in flow, sound, performance, etc?

The xpipe will give a little more lowend torque and at the same time add alittle more top end power, there is not great gain over a h-pipe but every little bit counts and the x-pipe sounds a little better.

From all of the vehicles that I have seen (at the track and on the dyno) over the years, the X pipe is the way to go if you have the room. More available torque & horsepower across the board, along with a better sounding exhaust.

Thanks for the advice. The X-pipe seemed like the better way to go, just by the look of it, but I wanted to be sure.
