Difference between AC Delco, Delphi and Cardone Opti?

Just as the title says, what is the difference between the three?

Here is what I know:

From Advance Auto the Cardone has a life time warranty. The Delphi has a 1 year warranty and Im not sure about the AC Delco.

The Cardone cost less then $300.
The AC Delco cost over $500.
The Delphi cost between $400 and $500.

I checked with Jason Cromer and his price is about the same as the Delphi, plus shipping.

What is the difference in quality and what would be the best choice and longest lasting?

Go with the AC Delco or the Delphi. Check Rock Auto and see if their prices are any better.

GM spun off a lot of their parts divisions, into an independant company called Delphi. GM kept the AC/Delco brand for some of their parts, but Delphi got most of the electronic lines. What was once AC/Delco in many electrical parts is now Delphi. Delphi managed to go into bankruptcy at least 3 years before GM did.

Actually, it's not that bad. It's certainly no nightmare.

its not bad at all.
if you have any doubts, spray everything down with PB blaster the night before you tear it apart.

If you do things like you are supposed to, you won't have those kinds of problems. Do your research first.
