i think the emissions hookups are a little different, the size of air or egr is different between the years, i know that.

ive wanted to do the single cat conversion on my 96 car with dual cats, and the single cat 94-95 headers require either an air adapter or egr adapter (cant remember which one) to connect to the 96's. besides that i dont think there are any differences, but i can be wrong.

So either the AIR or EGR are different?

I just checked the AIR, and the headers look like they will fit.... so its only the EGR that is different?

its the AIR fittings have different threads, i have 96 FLPs on my 95, either get the correct headers, or go to a junk yard and get 96-97 air fittings, or just block the threads off in the header and dont use your air system

I remember readings somewhere that 93-95 SLP headers flow better then 96-97 but i'm not sure if that's the same case with the pacesetter LTs.

actually thats just because the 96-97 slp's are extremely crammed shorties on the passenger side to accomodate the cat inside the engine bay more or less, and it doesnt flow nearly the same as the 93-95 style, which is almost midlength from what it looks like, with the single cat settup.
