Didn't put gm differential additive am i in trouble?

I changed my differential fluid about 1 month ago. I didn't put any of that gm limited slip fluid in it. I just strarted to drive the car like 4 days ago. I probably drove about 170 miles since i did the change. Just yesterday i noticed a clunking noise coming from the differential. It sort of feels like wheel hop. But it only happenes when i'm turning slowly. So i've did some searching and figured out that i'm supposed to add the gm fluid in it. Do you think i'm still okay or do you think i messed my rear end up? I'm gonna park the car untill tomarrow till i change the fluid.

I didn't put the additive in mine and it kinda squealed a little around corners. I put some additive in and it was ok.

Clunking=bad though

It may sound like it is falling apart until you get that additive in there.

the addative is to make ur posi slip when ur turning ..

if u dont have it in there both of ur wheels turn with the same speed aroun a corner, but since ur outter radius tire should be turning faster than ur inner radius .. it will cause wheel hop or noise

its like having a spool !!

Not using diff. additive is a huge crime, punishable by death. Really, go buy the additive, my diff was doing the same until i put that stuff in. It was about $7.50 at the dealer. Your clunking will just *die* down

Okay thanks for the replies. I just wanted to make sure i didn't screw anything up. I'm not driving the car till i have a chance to get the additive from the dealer.
