Well your first problem is that you ran the piping under the tunnel brace.. don't worry you're not the first to do this I think most people remove the brace - I know I did. Removing the thing didn't seem to make any noticeable difference and I don't even have subframe connectors (t-top car too). Second, I had real ground clearance problems my first time around too but I went back and fixed it up right.. yes I have 3" piping and I don't use any mufflers at the moment. I found that the glasspacks did not decrease sound much if any at all.. they were just plain heavy (I used 30" glasspacks from JC Whitney BTW). Anyways, yes the car is loud.. I think I'm gonna try and get the pipes up over the axle and add some spintech muffers soon.. that should help with the interior resonance. Other than the interior noise I think the car sounds wicked (I dunno maybe some people think it sounds like a truck with glasspacks) I get nothing but compliments on it from the people in my apartment complex - they also tell me that they know every time I come and go all that matters is that you like the way it sounds, screw everyone else it's not their car.

In short, I would like to say that it is not difficult to get that piping up and outta the way. My car still has difficulties getting over speed bumps but it is not the true dual exhaust that drags, it's the 3-bolt flanges on the hooker longtubes I'm inclined to cut the flanges off and use a clamp or slip fit or something..

Oh, and as for the stumble, check and make sure you don't have any burnt wires of any kind (especially the o2 wires). To do the job right you should have extended, rerouted, and ziptied quite a few electrical wires. Also, do yourself a favor and build a sheet metal heat shield for the ac box on the pass side firewall - I've heard of a few people melting these (I think that's really only possible if your headers are not coated though).

Well shoot, I never realized I could remove that brace. That would have helped a ton! Sucks that now everything is all welded up! Looks like I'll have to buy another X pipe kit and start over.

wheres the tunnel brace? is it the black thing that goes under the driveshaft and kind of acts like a drive shaft loop?
