Did I order the wrong header gasket??

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...=fel%2Dms95585

it looked right to me when i ordered it, but it doesn't match up to the pacesetters or the pacesetter gasket.

the pacesetter has a hole on either side of each primary. the felpro is missing the holes on the very left and right. the hooks on the gasket are too far away from the bolt hole, about 1/2 inch off.

i can put up a picture if i didn't explain it good enough. (crappy quality tho)

any advice is appreciated.

Those gaskets are designed for the stock manifolds which use a different mounting hole for the header bolt at the front and the back of the motor. Hold it up to you stock manifold and it is probably correct. You will probably be ok using them, just the first header bolt and the last header bolt wont go through the gasket.

ah thanks! i just re-read summits site and yep, it says stock manifold replacement :P i can't believe the price difference is 11.69 for the stock manifold gasket, and 30 dollars for the header gasket, considering there are two extra holes and slightly bigger openings. sheesh.
