Did i mess up?

I recieved my pacesetter longtubes the other day. So i ordered 2 3" manual cut-outs from summit to go at the end of each header. Now after reading i see that it can ruin your o2's and mess up the A/F. Is there anything i can do about this?
Thanks
Josh

Never heard that before. As long as the cutouts are after the o2's I dont see it being a problem.

Re: Did i mess up?

Even if the cutouts are past the O2 sensors, if they are TOO close to them, air will backwash during low load operation. The air fools the O2 sensors into thinking the engine is running lean, and the PCM pours unneeded excess fuel into the cylinders to compensate for a "false" lean condition.

Whether this is a problem, or how big a problem it is will depend on how close the cutout is to the O2 sensor. Move them as far away as you can, and it won't be a problem.
