I Really just want some input or confirmation on my cam purchase a few monthe ago. I went with the Bullet 228/236 555/555 112 lsa & 1.6 RR. Does this cam put me in dangerous territory or should I have scaled back to the next lesser aggressive grind. I hear the term usable power, Am I OK or on the edge of usable power with a stock bottom end? I wanted the most out of it and I hope I made the right choice. I haven't made it to the track or a dyno yet but the car pulls really strong through all the gears. Tell me What ya think.

 

is that an LE cam, one that he recommended if so then your ok. I wouldn't worry about it, it's not like your going to rev the car past 6500rpm all the time, just keep the maintenance in check, oil, etc..etc...you should be fine.

 

it is one he said was ok but it wasn't the first one he recomended. I asked about the heavier springs and he told me it would require the ultra pro mgs ect....AND i JUST WONDERED IF it was stilll in that useable power range for a stock bottom end. What kinda #'s are these cams producing....
