nono, it was a sound like metal was being tweaked...

The 93-97 Haynes manual properly displays the order of the wires that go on the Opti. I know because I've had one for years and referenced it when I did my first plug wire install. Not to mention that the opti itself is labeled :P

Does your opti not have the cylinder numbers embossed on each prong for the plug wires?

if it does i wouldnt have been able to see it... i could bearly see the wires

and my haynes is 93-2000

it helps to remove the belt tensioner down there, you can see everything a lot better.
