Question diagnosis

Ok I am getting P0100 code and the car is running poorly. Is it my MAF for sure or is there anything else I can do to make sure. It does not stall or idle different if I jiggle the connector or tap on the maf itself. Feels sluggish, I think it is runnning rich, and it stutters a little under load, esp before it goes in to cold loop. Oh, and lopes a little at idle. Is it the maf for sure? They are not cheap.

I'd take it off and clean it really well first. Take a q-tip and some type of parts cleaner and see if you can get any buildup off of the elements on the hotwires.

If not, then there's several people selling stock LT1 MAF's in the "For Sale" forum. I did a quick search, and found three for sale within just a few minutes. Two for $80 and one for $50, plus there's always room to talk them down a little.

Use electrical parts cleaner or brake parts cleaner, and CAREFULLY clean each of the hotwires, and even more carefully clean the small little wires that cross between them. Sometimes Oil (from a too oiled K&N) or just dirt buildup can mess up the readings.

OK I will give it a shot. No recently cleaned k&n or anything, just out of the blue. Thanks.
