diagnosing collapse lifter??
How would i know if my lifter are collapsed? It on an LT1 94 Trans Am. i have a weird tiking noise coming from the head area and still trying to decifer if its valve train related or internals related.
Re: diagnosing collapse lifter??
If you can find the LT1 sound library, there is a clip of it.
Also, take the valve cover off on the side you think it is on, and listen more closely for a noisey rocker. If that doesn't work, I went to Osco and bought a super cheap stethoscope and you can put it on the block and listen.
Turns out I have a noisey rocker arm.
