Dex cool or regular?

Dex cool or regular?

i have heard people say use dex cool then i hear people saying it dont matter. which should i use?

and when i put back on my water pump should i use RTV with the gasket?

Use the Green stuff ( do asearch on why). I used rtv on my gasket, be sure to get the old one good and off of there.

use the orange stuff, not green.

I switched to the green stuff and like it alot better, I have heat again! I flushed my system until it was clear water coming out and then refilled it with the green stuff, havent had any problems and like I said, I have heat again..

anyone have a guide for flushin the old orange out?

I'd like to switch it over to green myself... I just wanna make sure I get it ALL OUT ....

hey you know what, i had my system flushed out and my heater wouldnt get hot for s*** last winter, and from reading the replys im wondering if that could be the reason. hmmmm.

use RTV on both sides of the gasket?
