dex cool or anti freeze?

my 95z came with dex cool and i've heard how bad it is on gaskets... since im changing the radiator hoses and possibly the heater core if i cant flush it out enough to get the heat working right would it be better to go ahead and flush out the entire system and go with regular anti freeze or just stick with dex cool?

would it negativly effect any of the parts on my car??? its all stock as of now besides the cai which doesnt have anything to do with coolant

You can use whichever you want without consequence.

Dexcool is not as evil as it is made out to be. At the same time they made that switch they added clay tablets to the radiators when built in order to stop coolant leaks with the 100k coolant service interval.
