Well have you ever replaced the filter on your air intake? its basically as easy as it looks... just take the sensor out and spray the little bars with electric parts cleaner of some sort. I used CRC Lectra-Motive Electric Parts Cleaner, but make sure it doesnt have any lubricants in it. If its real dirty, you may have to use q-tips. I had to and Just very lightly rub the bars/diodes or whatever tehy are and amke sure not to break them! Dont get impatient, go slow and light. I had to use quite a few q-tips
