i will be so effin amazed if you did not bend any valves, the time you waste doing a compression test just to find out you gotta pull the heads, you could have the heads half way off

I know how. The cam gear bolts backed out causing excessive play and undue stress on the bolts eventually causing what you see there. The teeth didn't just disappear. The oil pan and the heads need to come off. Make sure whatever timing set you get is compatible with a roller camshaft.

Not force, but lack therof.

It's MORE WORK to try to pull the pan and heads with the engine still in the bay.

Remove that thing and properly R&R and inspect the engine PROPERLY.

it is extremely easy to drop the motor on these cars. not sure how long it took but it made me wish i had just dropped it to do the h/c. i hate the engine bay in these damn cars! i know there are a couple of write ups on dropping the motor using a engine hoist and pulling the car up. Have fun and do it right/safe

Since it looks like the UD pulley killed it, will this work?
ASP set

If not, what a good quality dampener? I would prefer a smaller diameter then stock one...I saw jegs had a 10% UD home brand dampener for $200, any experiance with that?
