Ok recently fried my piston rings. So its time for 355
Im looking for the best budget parts so im looking for advice on parts. THe Z is a street car. I would like the lightest parts possible with greatest strength within a reasonable price. (also help me with pricing so i know whats a good deal or not)
Pistons- JE SRP unless there is a better/cheaper alternative (speed pro or probe but i think they are twice as heavy)
Rods- Have no idea other than that i want forged (how strong are forged gm 1053's)?
Crank- Looking for a lightweight one as long as its good for a street car. How strong is the strongest cast? Scat? Eagle? Callies?
Im thinking cast cuz i know guys with stock cranks who spray 100-200 shots and ive never known any of them to break a crank.
Ive heard good things on King and Federal Mugul Bearings so i'll go with them.
At least studded mains also
Whats a good oil pump? mellings?
what about the piston rings- what are the best? Moly?
I'll probably be boosting or spraying this setup in the future. So i'd like to have a comprimising gap on the piston ring for all motor or boost/nitrous. Probably keep compression at 10.5 also. So with a forged i can run most of 9lbs safely.
What do u think? Advice is greatly appreciated.

he set me up with a scat crank.h beam rods,srp pistons,rings and brearings for $1009.I ve been doing a lot a homework on this and so far that is the best deal i can find.I spoke to many people who give you a run around answer,but seth and sam know their stuff and are willing to answer all your questions.
