Deprogram computer LT1/no eng.

How to deprogrm LT1 computer, no eng. in car, with Hypertech programmer. I got lots of good advice from this site. Save some time do this. Hook-up good battery. Put fuel line in 2liter bottle. Find ground wire for computer, it looks like a wiring harness hold-down, has 2 brown wires /white stripe hooked to it you can see when you pull it out of harness , connect a wire from battery - post to this ring, when FP starts you know computer is hot. I am embarassed to say how long it took me to do this, easy once you find the ground. Danny Mc

What's the point in the bottle? Why not just disconnect the FP? Easier than worrying about filling up the bottle with fuel.

Tells a dumb-*** like me the computer finally got power. No! all kidding aside, the car has not run in 5yrs wanted to see if pump would run. You're right normally, just kill power to pump. Danny Mc
