Question Dependable parts, reasonable prices

Hello everyone, thanks for giving your ideas concerning the problem with my car. The fuel pump, and starter is going out. I had chevy diagnose it yesterday. I'm not a big fan of paying dealership service prices, so I was wondering if you knew of any parts places in Northern California where I can purchase a dependable remanufactured starter and a good fuel pump? Also are there performance fuel pumps and starter?

Thanks.

IMO a starter is very easy to replace, even on our cramped cars. I would just get a rebuilt starter from autozone or somewhere with a lifetime warrenty and a cheap price. The worst that could happen is that you have to replace it. Now other things like sensor ect. or anthing that could cause larger problems i would get the GM or other top quality stuff.

There are many fuel pump options out there and it's probably a good idea to get a better one so you only have to do it once if you require fuel upgrades in the future. Mine hasn't gone out yet but i know people cut an access hole to do this themselves vs. dropping the tank which is a PITA. You might want to do a search on this if your going to do it yourself, there should be plenty of information on it.
