delteq timing question

I run nitrous at the track and I currently use a digital 6 msd box to retard the timing. I just built a new motor and was considering buying a delteq set up. How could I take out the proper amount of timing with this distributorless ignition? The way I understand it this system will not use my msd anymore. do i have to get lt1 edit or tuner cats to constantly change it every raceday? thanks for any advice.

To answer that question in short. Yes, you'll need LT1edit or some other system to control timing w/ the Delteq.

If you run a 150 or less shot then I really wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you run an AFR of 12:1 or richer. You'll be safe.
