Re: Delteq intall time

Yeah w/ the old accel 300+ setup I could barely get the key in and it start up. Now though it does take significantly longer but who cares? The chit is just better product regardless of the startup. I just want to know....HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR STAGE II????????!!!!!!!

Did anyone watch the video I posted? Is that "normal" cranking time with the Delteq as in longer than usual? Seems quick to me...

That's about like mine when it's cold-maybe a little shorter than when mine is cold hard to tell. When my car is cold now it takes a bit longer to fire. With my opti the car would start really quickly-the motor would hardly turn over at all. It's really no big deal.

I can't wait to get to the dyno. My car was a little wavy up top before.

Re: Delteq intall time

for all the guys interested in buying the delteq we have a dealer that would give us a group discount if 8 or more people bought them all at once.... he said that he would only ship to one address and then the reciever would have to send to other partys but i can't get enough people to get the discount so if anyone's interested let me know

Re: Delteq intall time

So with the delteq is starts more like an old car (my lt1 is going in an old camaro). Since i've never driven an Lt1, or havn't yet anyway, i wont notice a difference if i have a delteq on it from when i had the old 355 in it? (starting times only i mean). I like the sound of the delteq system because the opti seems like it has a few problems and goes bad regularly (not to mention $$$ to replace!).

Yeah, tell me about it. I took the time to run it in the looms and it added an extra 2 hours onto the install time. Plus, i still gotta redo it here in 2 weeks when i put on the LTs. Oh well.....it looks good while it is this way!!!
