Question Delteq install question

For those of you running it over the valve cover did you use the heat shield that came w/ the kit? Does anyone know how much heat the coils can take? That shield gets in the way at least for me it does. Haven't fired it up yet either that won't be for another wk or possibly tomorrow depending on any answers here.
Thanks.

Well it came w/ the ignition module. 90* thin sheet metal and looks like heat shield to me. Maybe it's recommended I don't know but on Delteq site the valve cover mount has a pic w/ a heat shield on it. Thanks Ken.

Cool thanks for the confirmation! I use it as a template for my bracket then.

Re: Delteq install question

I asked Pete about using it, he said since I have Long Tubes then I don't really need that shield at all.

What plug wires did you go with?
