are the delphi 02 sensors as good as the acdelco? because i seen on the board that everyone says to use acdelco not bosch or any other ones, the website for delphi says they are the makers of acdelco? does any one use these(es10006)?
Re: Delphi O2 Sensors (afs-75) Acdelco???
I used to work for O'reily Auto parts and we started replacing our Delco parts with Delphi parts. They said that they were exactly the same as the Delco parts and they had a better warranty. They also said that they were shipped from the same company.
Re: Delphi O2 Sensors (afs-75) Acdelco???
Went to that web site and I'm convinced it's the same part. But I'm still going to investigate it. In the last class we had for sensors, put on by Standard Auto Parts. That's the parts in the blue box. They informed us that they make most of the OEM and many of the aftermarket sensors for various manufacturers.
If you notice things like your OEM alternator have Delphi printed or cast right on them. AC Delco and Delphi are under the same umbrella of companies. I believe all the OEM radios are made under the Delphi name as well.
If I were you, I would ask this company getgmparts, if the part does not function properly, can you return it. Can you get your shipping charge back if it does not. How long do you have to return it and are there any rules to follow like in the original packaging and so on.
Good luck it looks like you're on to something.

I'm going to agree with Slopok here.

If you look at the alternate part numbers, part number 25312184 is the EXACT part number that I recently purchased off of Jason Cromer for $37.00 each.
Now the only question is will www.getgmparts.com rape you on shipping like GMPartsDirect will??
*Edit*
I just played with the checkout there, and for 1, 2, or 5 of the above mentioned O2 sensors, shipping was a flat $10.00. That could definitely work out to be cheaper. One sensor was $37.88, which if you bought one off of Jason Cromer for $37, you'd have to only pay $.88 for shipping.
Good find!!
