I removed my heads to get to the springs and retainers. The head gaskets were not blown. I'm tempted to reintall them with no machine work. Is this too risky? If not, how do I clean the surface with out damaging the aluminum. In the past, with other cars the gasket has been blown so I had them machined.

I bought new gaskets and head bolts, also whats the part # for the coolant transfer tube gaskets?
