Dead battery?

Dead battery?

my battery died the other day; and i got it jump started
i put a volti meter on the battery and it read 13.6 does that mean its charging fine and everything??

That running or not?

Usually ~12.8V off, ~14.4V running.

Most alts will put out 13.8 to 14.2 volts when running...Give or take...

Have your battery checked with a load tester..... This will show you if there is a cell going bad....

I was told that it's not the volts your battery reads it's the CCA that starts your car. Cold Cranking Amps. Is this right? maybe someone can chime in.

im around 11.4-11.9 at idle and then when throttle around 1000rpms it goes up to around 12-13...dang pulleys

just get the overdrive pully for your alternator. I got one, forgot what my exact volts are but there good.
