Daytime...

Alright, long story short, dash crack, so decide to replace the dash, all done and said, i realize im missing a hole for that 'magic' eye. So for the moment being, i just tuck it in the dash, knowing the lights will always be on. But now im getting tired of my lights being always on when im driving and it's bright day light.
Ive taken out the 'blue eye' doesn't do anything, light still stay's on. Is there anyway i can have control on my lights?
Appreciate it...
thx
