Is there a way that you can run DataMaster all the time instead of saving runs and playing them back. I want to monitor the engine at all time instead of replaying a saved run.
Please Help!

 

There is the monitor function in the record window.

 

...or obviously, you can watch or monitor as you are recording.

 

Does the monitor function run the program constantly or does it record for a certain amount.

In the record window, where you start and stop recording, there is a third button: monitor. When using this function, it buffers only 60 or so frames, but the data is coming in real time and not being recorded to a file. And as mentioned previously, you can watch the data in real time when recording a file, of course.

 

is there a program that tells you your air/fuel ratio or can datamaster do this.

 

Your LTerm Counts and STerm counts are your indications for A/F ratio. The O2s are providing the feed back of what your air fuel is. If you are looking for actual A/F readings such as 13:1 then you need a wide band O2 and a meter, they are around 300-400 bucks and require and another O2 bung wleded in.

 

How do you read the sterm and lterm and convert it to make sure its running a/f like it should

 

As far as the ratio the computer is trying to maintain, 128 is perfect. You can judge rich or lean from the deviation above or below that number. There is some good information on Injuneer's page on what all the numbers mean.
