Dark gray TA...

Does anyone have a dark gray TA/Firebird? Not the purple gray one, but a real dark gray. If you do can you please let me know what year the car is and what the color is called? I'm going to use the nose bird on my car when I get it re-painted.

Thanks,

Trying to remember the story here.... I have the original sales brochure from the 94 Firebird, and it only shows the "Gray Purple Metallic" (code "91"??). But the data in the "Firebird Red Book" lists a paint code "18" as "Dark Gray Green Metallic". That color is only shown for the 94 Firebirds. It is shown as a color for the 93 and 94 Camaros.

Can you find the build tag? It should list the paint code.

Fred,

I actually have a Teal 94 Formula that I'm getting re-painted soon. I'm going to be putting a two tone stripe on the car, silver and a metallic dark gray ( like a Comp T/A Stripe but the opposite way if you see what I mean ). So I wanted to put on the dark gray bird on the front bumper with a silver fill in decal. I know I've seen dark gray cars before, just don't know what year they were. It may be the Dark Gray Green Metallic your talking about. I guess I just need to find a picture of one to see if it's a color that will work. Then I can just have they guy who paints the car match it up for the stripe.
