Dad got a 94 Trans Am
Dad got a 94 Trans Am
Hey guys,
My dad just picked up a 95 trans am. Its really nice, but anyways its already has....
k&n fipk
descreened maf
bbk headers
custom 3 1/2in y-pipe
into full 3in exhaust and gutted cat
flowmaster muffler
B&M 2400 stall
3.23 gears
set of 17x9.5 zr1's
what should this put out at the wheels, and what do you think it would run with some 275/40 nitto or bfg meat.
Thanks
smitty

That depends...it is a 94, or a 95?
I noticed your stall conv. so it must be an auto....so how well does your dad know how to drive it?
I would say in the neighborhood of mid 13's to - low 14's [if driven correctly.]
But there always other factors....the track your @, elevation, weather.......etc.

Maybe, I had a friend with headers who was barely pulling off 13.8's but then again another guy I know was running 13.8 stock, so I guess it depends on the track conditions and skill of the driver.
