IMO, the problem with AI on this site is that phil represented them when they first came on here. He was always cocky and trashed competitors.

As far as Lloyd goes, I have had 3 sets of heads go thru him and dont have any complaints at this point. I will make one valuable point here..........

I had my set of LE ported AFR210's flowed locally and the bench was very low. The operator of the bench (machinist) told me up front the numbers on his bench are low. He tested one port at 28" and used a 4.03 bore like Lloyd. Just for numbers sake I'll quote the .600 numbers:

LE said 310/220 ish and the local flowbench read 280/19# ish. The Machinist then told me that the best HE has ever gotten out of LT1 casings is 250cfm which shows my AFR's (on the local bench) flow 30fcm more than his best LT1. How is this related? My AFR flow numbers from Lloyd are 30cfm higher than the ported stock castings flow numbers I got from Lloyd a few years ago as well. What this means is that the heads do truly flow ~30cfm better than the LT1 castings no matter which bench I used. This just goes to show that each bench READS differently. Thats all...

 

Been a while since anyone posted here but I just landed and found it pretty useful considering until now I thought "who cares about the stupid heads they all work".
