because i need to get my driver side cylinder head off so far i have the intake manafold off and the coil bracket and the rockers and lifters. u mean to tell me there are 17 bolts on 1 cylinder head. do i have to take those bolts off that held the lifters on
no, you don't have to take the coil and all off either. Take the exaust manifold off.
short bolts on the bottom of the head....long ones under the valve cover area.....2 middle lenght ones in the recessed area on each end

Ok now all that stuff is out of the way. What are the torque specs on the stock head bolts and what bolts do i start first i am being very carefull because this is the first time ive taken a head off i just pray to god i can get everything back on smooth. i have the arp bolts i just bought. and also what kind of headgasket should i use?
for what? regular driving? yeah they will be fine.
Don't know stock specs......start in the middle and go outward in a circle. Lube your arps(or read the instructions and do what they say)
I'm sure shbox has the torque specs on his site

So i will torque all the bolts down to 65lb. and yes my car is just used for normal driveing i am only doing the driver side because i have 2 bolts that broke off in my head from the headers. And shoebox in that picture labeled with numbers do i torque them down in order from 1-17
