Old motor made 581 on the engine dyno, we ran it on 100 oct to be save, it was 11.8 cr. My new motor dose not fair wellon the dyno , tall gears, slicks, big stall conv, it put down 442 @ 7500. But if you go by ET MPH its making 630 hp.

Old 350 was HR, new motor is SR and runs on 110 oct

FAST ECM tuned by myself

Running my own intake ,

This intake off your's care to talk about it a bit here ..... as to where you have made it better then the stock LT1/LT4 intakes....and it's power over a swap.....

Why have yo stuck with the LT1 heads as to going to a set of AFR heads ....are you makeing up the power with the intake or is it because of the big stall/gears that kind of stuff...

Main reason modifying the intake was to increase plenum, I also made the entrance to number 8 cylinder much better then stock. We did dyno testing on another motor of mine we had seen a gain of over 20 hp above 7k, this was a 560 fwhp motor.

As to why I'm still using the stock LT1 heads, money, as it would cost me over 6k to switch.

The reson this car goes as fast as it dose, its not just one part, its the whole combo being matched.

Why the big interest in flow #'s? Do you know something everyone else doesn't?

what you are attempting to do is very simple.... you need to find someone you trust, that is capable of taking care of you...and proceed. don't concern yourself with advertising.

BTW...Steve is 100%....you can do everything you want with stock castings...

3k for heads, 1k for t&d setup, 2k for custom headers, also a new intake and pistons will be needed, so its more like 7 or 8k.

I found all but the dyno sheet I need, still looking, thats what happends when you move.

Money is the only reason I have not changed over, but when I do hopefully next winter it will not be an afr head.

Thumbs up

The heads get bigger and bigger and flow more and more to the 227 which can go 325 or so on a real flow bench depending on who ported it. It can make 700hp on a race engine and probably 650 on a street engine on pump gas.
