is it worth it and would i gain anything....seems like it would be best of both worlds...quiet and loud.

I have one right now with the 2OTL exhaust, but I also dont have any cats and hooker longtubes. The car is loud enough with the cut out closed, I havent even tried opening it yet.

 

As far as power goes, I don't think it's worth it. The SLP muffler has no restrictions so a cutout wouldn't really be doing much other than making the exhaust louder. Although there may be a 1-2 hp increase if you put it before the rear axle. Overall if you want a cutout, get it for the sound and don't expect a power increase.

 

i think the only way you'd get a decent gain would be if you used it to completly exclude the Ypipe and single 3" pipes/muffler.

that being said, if you wanted to you could put two, one on each collector. it would be loud as hell's kitchen but you'd get the most flow/hp gain for the track
