Cutout, Open or Close?

I remember hearing from a few people that with the cut out open, your times are actually worse than with the cut out closed. Something about not enough back pressure for the LT1. So when I go to the track, should I leave the cut out closed?

Opening my cutout dropped my 1/4 times .2 seconds....From a 12.25 to a 12.05.

Running my cutout open at the track increased my mph for me too.

This seems to be the biggest BS rumor that is always spread...that you actually lose power without back pressure. You gain power and lose a little torque.
