Cutout at headers? or after Y?
Cutout at headers? or after Y?
Been thinking about my echaust lots, and searching lots. but still cant find any information about this.
For LT's would a cutout off each header be better then one after the 3" Y
or would a 10" peice of 3" pipe befor the cutout be better?
or would trying to get a crossover then cutouts then go back into a Y
I have NO idea if that will fit at all, jsut an idea right now.

I would worry about extra oxygen reaching the O2 sensors if the cutouts are too close to the O2 sensors. This would make the engine run very rich and foul plugs, O2 sensors...

I don't know. All I know is that guys who drive with their LT's with open collectors to the muffler shop to get the Y pipe welded on end up running very rich. They have fouled O2's and had very bad gas milage. This would be very similar to putting the cutouts right after the collectors.

Anyone know the distance it should be to run properly?
