I just got my cut out and have one issue on where to install it. I live on a gravel road and i'm worried about ground clearance if i install it after the converter. Has anyone put it right before the muffler? I figured that would be the highest spot plus i wouldn't have to wiggle my big **** under the car to uncap it. Thanks.

 

Just put it right before where the exhaust goes over the axle. That seems to be where most people put theirs....it's also where i have mine and there are no clearance issues.

 

I'd recommend putting it over the axle just before the i-pipe goes into the muffler. I used to have a cutout on the i-pipe before it went over the rear axle, but after I added headers I had ground clearance problems. Plus the interior resonance was horrible.
