Question cut out guys-where did you place yours?

Hi fellows-just ordered the cut out from jegs yesterday, but I haven't been able to decide where to place it. The options are
1) Just after Y-pipe, before the cat.
2) Just after the cat
3) Just before the bend of the pipe before the axle.

Where didja put yours, and most importantly, how do you like it? thanks guys

Mine is going in place of the Cat, I'll make it and the Cat bolt in so I can put the Cat back in when I want.

right under the rear passenger floor board on the passenger side.

theres a nice lil pocket there for it

I assume this is the place that most people are talking about since I got mine mounted where most people said they had theres mounted a couple of years ago.

always open.

be aware that just b/c its loud doesnt mean its gonna sound good. some people are contempt with the loud untamed sound of a cutout, personally i like a deep throaty tone (love my hooker ). so dont be disappointed if the sound isnt what you thought it'd be... i only open mine when im about to race, at idle it really brings out the tone of the stock cam.

if it pops with the flows then it will probably pop more with the cut out. Mines right before the axle though and it doesnt pop at all. it sounds great!

a downside is you loose a noticeable amount of torque down low, but on the other hand it pulls harder top end...also having a cutout will really vibrate heavily through the car and make various things rattle.

I put mine in position number 3. I've got a 3" crossover, 3" cat, and 3" Flowmaster cat-back and it pops a lot more at WOT with the cutout open, but I like the noise.
