Custom set of valve covers

Thought I'd share this for those interested.

Since I was not impressed by the aftermarket valve covers out there for LT1's--I decided to get with a fabricator to have a custom set built. They are strictly bolt-on and do not require any alterations whatsoever. They also accomodate the 1.6 or 1.7 RR's with no alterations to the valve cover. The driver's side was completed a week ago and all I'm waiting on now is the passenger side. I figured I'd go ahead and post what the finished product looks like, although I don't have anything installed yet. I'll post up again when everything's finished.

Check 'em out here

Good lord man. Your projects with this car make movement of the earth's continental plates seem frighteningly rapid.

I need a set with perimeter bolts, not center bolt, and to clear shaft rockers. I put a set of regular small block heads on my LT1 with shaft rockers and alternator in factory location. Let me know.

The quality of that work is outstanding (what I can tell from the pictures anyway). Those TIG welds are beautiful. Here's one more person that wants to know how much a set will be, if they become available in a limited supply. Congrats on quite the good idea

Yes, those welds are awesome. I'd be interested in picking up a pair down the road. Whats the cost?

I'd like a pair also as long as they don't cost an arm and a leg
