Hey guys, after I get the headers on, I'm taking the car down to the shop to get the cat and etc. welded on. I was thinking about taking out that clunky Hooker catback, which sounds good, but its alot of crap back there. Anyway, long story short.

I was looking at having 2 Dynomax bullet mufflers welded in, one would be in the I pipe parallel to the driveshaft, and the last one would be as the single tube comes over the axle and just before the turn down. Basically there will be no tips or anything.

So the real question is, are the Dynomax race bullet mufflers a packed design? Is it fiberglass or a ceramic material, or something else, I'm getting the whole exhaust ceramic coated, and the last thing I want to do is have to cut it up afterwards.

I actually think that the Race Ultraflo is really pretty quiet. It wakes up quite a bit at WOT, but it's not bad at all otherwise. The bullets on the other hand will be quite loud.

 

Even with dual bullets and the cat? So the bullets are not fiberglass packed right?
