csr water pump to meziere pump

csr water pump to meziere pump
I have a csr electric water pump that has gone bad, Im switching to a meziere pump. besides the wiring do i have to change anything with the mechanical portion of the pump. before I swap it... or since it previosly had an electric pump am I good to go?
