Cruise control problem

On Sunday afternoon I was driving home from the dragstrip and since it's a long highway trip of 100 miles, I used my cruise control. It worked fine until I stopped for gas, then when I got back on the highway it wasn't working at all. I tried turning it to the off position and back on, but to no avail. I then pulled off at an exit, shut the car off and checked the fuses, nothing was wrong there. When I got back on the highway again after restarting, the cruise worked fine! I remember this happened once on a 95 TA that I had a few years ago, but it only happened once and never returned.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a sign of bad things to come or is it a freak one time deal?

Mine does the same thing. Once the car has been running for a while, the cruise will work. if you try to use it right after starting up, it won't work.

Does is ever kick off when going over a hard bump? Mine does that too.

TTT for ya cause I'm interested in this also.
