ok I have a 94 S-10 Blazer with a 94 Caprice motor,or so they said at the yard. They thought they sold me a 4.3 LT1 (I think) and actually i got a 5.7 , when I ran the numbers I found out and put 2 and 2 togther cuz they wanted 1/2 of what they wanted for the Camaros LT1. Ok, now I converted it over to a single knock sensor, got a LT4 knock module, computer done by PCM4less, a Granetelli MAF, Vortec elbow, K&N filter, Hedman headers, Flowmaster, new vented Optispark, 255LPH holley pump, Holley FPR, Painless harness,no cat, no EGR, and no AIR.
ok, I wanna do a cam. Either the LT4 hotcam, the CC305, or the CC306. I also wanna do RRs while Im there and it I get the hotcam Ill be getting the kit with RRs, springs, retainers, and such. While Im at it i think I'll do the timing gears. The extreme duty one says that I need the vented optispark, timing chain cover, and a list of other parts to make it work. Now, the vented optispark on GMpartsdirect says that the vented one is the newer one and fits the B-boby cars like the caprice, impala, roadmaster, etc that I took the motor from. I also looked on automotiverebuilders.com and from the pics , I have the later model timing chain cover minus the 97s crank sensor (if I remember correctly from that site).
Now , would I need the mods listed? What cam would I need and mods to make it work other than pushing in the cam dowel to the listed distance for a 94? and do I need to do that as it looks like I have a later model 94? What else should I do while I have all that apart for performance? Im thinking P&P the heads and matching the intake up

also have a MSD 6A , MSD coil, and MSD 8.5(8?) wires.
I forget cuz its not my daily driver and hasnt been running for like 3 months cuz its getting stripped and painted , new carpet, interior, tweed, painted dash,etc
