Question Which alternator?

I'm pretty sure I've isolated my squeaking noise to one of my alternator bearings, thanks to my handy stethoscope. So which one do I get, though?
The bosch one is $225, I was wondering if there was anything better about it, such as quality or reliability compared to the ones for $150?

Or can I just buy the bearings and try to do it myself? It would be a lot cheaper, but I don't know what I'm doing in that department.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

Wow $225 for a stock replacement alternator is alot. I am sure you can get a higher amp Powermaster for the same price.

Ok I'm confused, is there a part number or a certain one that I should use for my LT1?

I know that on a 93 the alternator is different than on a 95.

YearOne has some for the LT but they're all 300+ bucks,
and I can't find any part number similarity between them and summit, so I don't know which one would fit (if any).

I just noticed that YearOne's prices seem to be drastically inflated. $270 for slp cai?

I'm assuming I have a 3 wire alternator with the big case style, but my knowledge stops there...
