crazy wipers

When i first got my car it had aftermarket wiper heads on it and it would never wipe the pass side of the windshield right. I eventually went to the junk yard and got new GM arms with gm heads and a new wiper motor i replaced both and tried them. The Wipers would work fine but when they would hit high speed they would begin slapping the cowl and getting really close to going off the edge of the drivers side of the window. I tried adjusting the arms and tightening the nuts on the arms nothing helped. I then got a wiper motor out of a 01 TA so i figured that one wouldn't be messed up, i still have the same problem. They usually won't get crazy on high speed unless the window is wet if you turn them on while its dry they usually are fine. The only thing i can possibly think of is those crappy rubber pieces that hold the motor on that back are allowing it to flex back and forth. Any ideas guys. Its really a safety hazard.

Wasn't there a transmission assembly for our wipers too??? If that's the case, it could possibly be the cause. I just bring that up because I remember reading something in my service manual about replacing either the wiper motor or transmission.
