I have a 97 z with a 6 speed and it barly chirps the tires when i shift into second , when i shift into 3rd it dont come close to spinning them. i have a CAI, cat back, jet module,52mm throttle body and a few other small things, my next step was to put long tubes headers, but is my clutch goin bad?or is it just me ?and what would be a good replacement for not to much money?

 

You cant tell tell when your clutch is slipping, you'll notice that in a hurry. If you feel the car reving but its not going anywhere, thats a slipping clutch. I think what your talking about has justa bout everything to do with the driver. All tires arent mde the same but you shoudl at least be able to chirp second as its not hat hard its all in the driver.
